Need Help upgrading to Mimaki

Greetings all,

We are planning to phase out our efi 1625LED printer for a Mimaki JFX-200-2513EX flatbed printer.
Does anyone else have one? Any problems with them? Any hidden surprises?

Lots of these printers were sold. Just make sure you have a nearby good dealer for support. Buy ink supplies from them so they would give you good support.

We have a JFX-200 in the lab at school. It's no speed demon, but the output is beautiful. Students use it to output their work. Also gets used to produce signs/graphics for our campus and our satellite learning centers. Lab aides made templates to hold various styles of USB drives and other products.
Only issue so far was a leaking ink line. Other than that it's been a solid rig.

I have been looking at these too. I was just hoping they would make a 2531EX soon as I would rather have the larger bed.

Is the JFX500 not big enough? It's faster than the EX.

Mimaki JFX200 is a great machine. We ran one for 5 years. Had to upgrade to a faster machine though.
