US Tariffs, Sigh!

Tell us all, what makes trump so corrupt?
Arguments that have been presented to demonstrate corruption by Donald Trump include:
  • Conflicts of Interest and Personal Profiteering:
    • Using his businesses for personal financial gain while in office, such as promoting his properties and hosting events at his resorts, according to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).
    • Accepting gifts and favors from foreign entities, which critics argue violate the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.
    • Maintaining ownership of his business empire while delegating day-to-day operations to his sons, rather than utilizing a blind trust.
    • Reportedly selling access to his administration and himself through high-priced dinners, donations to his political efforts, and potentially influencing decisions affecting industries where his allies have significant interests.
    • Accusations of using his office to push through trademarks for his businesses, including from the Chinese government, while the U.S. was engaged in a trade war.
  • Attacks on Democratic Institutions and Rule of Law:
    • Interfering in Department of Justice investigations and efforts to delay the election.
    • Refusing oversight from Congress.
    • Using government resources for partisan purposes.
    • Weaponizing the Department of Justice for political purposes and attacking the independence of agencies and the media.
    • Attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, including pressuring election officials in Georgia.
    • Attacking judges and sidelining Congress's role in decisions about taxes and spending.
  • Financial and Business Misconduct:
    • A New York judge found Donald Trump, his company, and family members liable for lying about his property valuations. The judge ordered the Trump Organization to pay millions of dollars, plus interest, for falsely inflating Trump's net worth to obtain favorable loan terms, according to the New York Attorney General. Trump is appealing this judgment.
    • The Trump Organization was found guilty of tax fraud in a scheme to compensate top executives with undeclared benefits like luxury apartments and cars.
    • Indicted for falsifying business records related to a hush-money payment to an adult-film star in 2016. A jury found him guilty on all 34 counts in May 2024. His sentencing was indefinitely postponed following his second election to the presidency.
  • Other Accusations:
    • Using the presidency as a platform for free advertising for his businesses and encouraging visits to his properties by public officials.
    • Misusing his bully pulpit by spreading misinformation and engaging in racist rhetoric.
    • Accusations of sexual misconduct from multiple women.
It is important to note that many of these accusations have been denied by Donald Trump and his legal team, and legal cases and investigations are ongoing in some instances.

**Edit** I'm not going to respond to those issues, but, I'd like to ask an additional question:
If he were guilty of all of those things, how in the world was he able to run for president the second time? And why wasn't he impeached on those items when he was in office?

You answered your own question.
no. you missed the point. how was he ever able to run for president if many of those issues were against the law?

are you saying that no one addressed those issues and that's how he was able to run?
seriously, he was impeached for asking zelensky questions about burisma and impeached for an insurrection. both of which were acquitted. neither of those items were mentioned by snydo. so, tell me, if that laundry list were true, how was he able to run for president?

A republican Republican-controlled Senate ran by the biggest POS politician in US history: Mitch McConnell.
Are you aware that the house is the one who brings the impeachment charges? Mitche Mcconnell has nothing to do with the actual impeachment indictment. He's one of 52 republican senators (100 total) who votes to either sentence or acquit , but you want to place the whole blame on him? that sounds a little farfetched. During his first term, nancy used zelensky/burisma, which actually turned out to be true. and then the insurrection (which turned out to be her). So with all of that, he was still able to hold office?

Again, I ask, some of those items were definitely conflicts of interest...which would not be allowed...why were they allowed for him? What gave him the special privilege?

I feel like I'm at the drive-in with my buds for a four feature all-nighter. Can't wait to visit the snack bar.

Of course there are a few that hide in the trunk and don't pay admission, they just kind of showed up empty handed with nothing to contribute. Oh, and did nothing but bitch and chew through the each of the movies.

The House impeached him twice successfully, and he was then acquitted by the Republican controlled Senate.
Mitch has been a cancer on this country for many decades.

There was no success. The house brought charges against him. That's what impeachment is. The senate is the group that holds court and issues penalty or acquittal.

Even Trump agrees with you regarding Mitch.

But him not releasing it doesn't make him guilty.
Guilty of a classic bait and switch, if not whatever dark deeds they were pulling on that island.
Frankly, the bait and switch in an election is more corrupt than him doing god knows what as a private citizen.

Trump never went to the island. Virginia Guiffre said it and now so has Ghislane Maxwell.
Did you see comer subpoenaed Clinton in regards to Epstein?

I know I defend the guy...but you might be wrong.
