I print on my epson r5070 .15 and .30 just like vinyl. At 9 pass you get a little grainiest but at 14 pass look like cast vinyl

This are 9 pass , cut on a iecho pk
Just made 500 under 2 hours is a very profit material

What I don't understand is that....... while the solvent machines preheat and post heat all kindsa vinyls, banner materials and other media.... how on earth does it preheat a magnet for proper adhesion ?? Thee's no printer made, whose little heaters can penetrate a magnet at .010 or .030.
Gino,
My Seiko Color Painter W-64 and Roland XR-640 heats up and penetrates .20 magnet material.

We have tried direct print on an HP LTX110 but it was more frustration than anything. We have printed to vinyl, laminated and mounted and the product was nice looking at held up (used on local school buses in warm and cold weather -40°C plus windchills. Lately we've been outsourcing direct print magnets.

Did you try on PVC magnet? It's a no-go.

We do them either on an epson s80600 or v7000 flatbed and cut on a graphtec flatbed. Cutting is tougher than printing them, but cheap blades off amazon cuts the pain of that down a LOT.

The 80600 gets larger orders, while the flatbed will do oversize or small quantity.
