We ended up purchasing a Mimaki UJF-6042 and just added two more Mimaki UJF-3042. The mimaki printers are absolutely amazing.

A lot has changed in the past two years since this thread was started.
Pretty much the same players.
IMO, Mimaki has done the best job of modifying the UJF3042HG and the UJF6042. Both these printers are pretty solid today; however, I really like the new Mimaki UJF-7151 Plus...bigger bed (28"x20"), 6" head height, and really nice Toshiba print heads. Very high quality prints. MSRP $50K...
