Question VersaCamm VP-300i

Does anyone know if there’s a way to get a better seal from my capping station to the printer head? We clean everything periodically like how it’s supposed to be done and just replaced the ink caps. For some reason it’s not sealing correctly to one of the colors…..
Any advice on how to fix that or what we may be doing wrong for it not to seal??
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

The captops are orientated.
Are the genuine Roland captops with black rubber tubes?
If so, Remove the white piece from the bottom.
The metal part on 5he insides of the captop…the hook side goes to the rear

The caps in the above pic are in backwards. When you install them, the drain tube needs to be closer to the front.
The drain tube is in the middle from what I can tell sir , the other caps I have installed are installed exactly how the pictures are showing in the post above please give me as much advice as you can I need it

Are the heads aligning properly over the captops when they are docked? If you look from the side and shine a light you should be able to see if the rubber part of the captop is sitting against the head centrally.
If they are then the issue may not be due to the captops. Can you show us a nozzle test as it should give more of an idea.
Also are the two springs under the captop in the correct position? If one is out of place or missing it can stop the captop sealing properly

I stand corrected on the cap pic above. That is the correct orientation. Attached pic shows what I mean by the drain tube to the front. The cap won't move correctly if installed backwards.

Also, in my experience, aftermarket caps don't work well on this particular model. We sell all kinds of aftermarket parts except for that one because of it.
