I just finished replacing the head and dampers, did the proper cleanings to charge the head. Went to do a test print and the warning popped up. I went and turned off the printer (main switch) waited a minute and tried again with no luck. Went into service mode the thermistor is reading 24 degrees!! its a nice 72 in the shop. Any ideas?? I need this printer up and running, jobs are piling up. TIA

Is it a genuine Roland head?
Did you put all four cables back in the exact same spot?
Hopefully, you only removed them from the printhead and not the board.
Do you have the head oriented in properly?
There is a particular way it has to go In. It can actually go in both ways that you have to have the F to the front.

Also check for any bent or damaged pins on the cable as it can easily happen when changing a head. The warning you are getting is the printer telling you it can't read the temperature which it gets from the head, so there is some problem with the connection between the head and the board

IK find it very hard to believe that the board went bad, it was working fine before, some numskull (me) left the lid open and the head exposed, got busy and did not come back till the next Monday, 4 days later. Head was dried out, tried to save it but it was too late. :( I know printers are temperamental but...
