Weird 1604 Problem

Anyone ever had their 1604/1204 do something like this?

the file is fine.. looks like it went schizo on me for a couple passes. ?

How tall are the letters?

Try re-ripping the file. Ive had my 1614 do weird things, not quite like that, but print errors nonetheless, and re ripping has always fixed the problem.

Letters are 2" or so tall.

Seems like it's a rip issue since the other black copy doesn't have it and neither does the red above.

How do you know that the file is fine?

Re-Rip, If it's still no good, Try another file with similar characteristics. If that looks fine, you may need to rework the root file. If not, i would say static or your linear encoder needs a swipe or two.
