First off my digital printer stops in the middle of a run and the job is toast as my Flexi program manager shut itself down. This is not such a strange occurrence but the next thing that happened, I have never seen before. I am cutting vinyl on my Graphtec plotter and it is a repetitive logo 200 times. I have done these a gazillion times and it's one of those jobs that takes a bit of time and runs about 160 inches of 48" vinyl. The roll is relatively new and I pull out enough vinyl and go downstairs to work on a truck. Come up 30 minutes later to take them out of the plotter and I see the entire roll has been pulled through the machine. The blade holder is sitting at about the 32" mark and I have seen this very seldom and cringe. It somehow in the middle of cutting decided to run a cut line the entire length of the roll!!!! What a waste. Almost killed myself trying to re roll it all up and find out where it finished cutting... Now I have a 48" roll with a continual line through it.... What next today can happen... is it Friday the 13th?
