Graphic Extremes

Knows To Little
Yesterday I received my first invoice that had an extra surcharge for tariffs. the bill should have been $897.00 but they added an extra $109.36 for a tariff surcharge. That is quite a bit of a surcharge.

I know a lot of places have adjusted prices, but I have gotten notifications that some companies are not changing their prices.

Yeah that's a tough one. We held tight for over 20 years with basically the same pricing. We have upped our prices 15% like 4 times since 2020.

In the last two weeks alone I've had price increases from 7 suppliers. I know more are coming. It reminds me of the inflation we saw after Covid and is very difficult to keep updating prices on the website and in our system. Not only are we seeing the market slow down, but it is taking a lot more administrative work to keep up with updating thousands of sku costs and selling prices. More work and less income.

I'm with Victor....the other countries are not the ones paying the tariffs.

I think it's all governments (including the US) using the Trump admin and trade & tariff wars as a scapegoat to increase taxes. Why, because the Canadian government needs more money so they can spend more money?

We've been paying a 25% surtax on products we bring from the US into Canada for months. Ink and other consumables are up over 30% in the past month or so.

The US and Canada are now publicly fighting over the Digital Services Tax. And apparently if Canada doesn't back down Canadian companies will get hit with import taxes or tariffs on product we send into the US. Bad enough to get slapped on one side of the face, but to get nailed on the other cheek as well?

I don't remember being asked by the minority Liberal government in Canada if I wanted to pay more taxes or increase the level of government spending. But here we are.

Yet it is amazing how many people still don't realize its a tax and they're the ones paying it.

Makes me want to punch my screen everytime trump says "China pays it" and "Canada Pays it" and "We're going to tariff THEM". no you are taxing US, the citizens of this country

Every country punishing their own citizens

all the copier companies have added approx $20/mo on the invoices for lease/ink, toner/per click

i assume it is for the toner not for the copier that has been on our side of the border for 60 months already
