What could be causing this?

Fired up the 25500 today running banners 13oz same as always, at the start of some of the lettering I am getting this, any ideas, I'm thinking printhead?

did you try doing a cleaning and see if that fixes it

Can I guess, you had a large white area before it started printing that part of the banner?

Seen that same thing on our prints, don't have a reason for it though.

Yep a large blank space then the lettering, I can assume printing a gutter with the print would fix it.

I saw this occur on some prints, I printed a gutter on some others but I haven't seen them yet to see if it helped. I'll have the production people pull the print out so I can look at it.

I had something similar the other week, when printing gray with lots of white space. Printed gutters (as jayhawk pointed out) cleared the problem right up.
