I've got a couple identical S2's that behave pretty much the same. I can cut the
vinyl only, unlaminated, at 65 pressure. But to cut through the whole thing is usually around 300 (laminate, vinyl,
paper backing.) The first hour of a brand new blade might be closer to 200, but it quickly settles in higher as the blade dulls a tiny bit.
I find doing just a single cut narrows the window of how precise you have to be with the settings, whereas hitting it twice allows a slightly wider range of acceptable depth and pressure. 2-3 cuts also sort of "finished" the cut cleaner than a single one. Similar to using an exacto and straightedge. No fuzzies.
