What is causing this only around 24" from the right side?

Rebooted, reinstalled firmware. Looks like nozzle firing when not supposed to but only around 24" in from the right a randomly lead edge to trail edge.

Sorry I should have mentioned it was the 700W. No upper carriage rod.

I needed to reprint something that did not fall in the 24" area, but decided what the heck lub the carriage rod and clean the encoder first. Did the reprint and no defects. Found a messed up print with these marks when cutting out a roll from last week and decided to reprint it as well. What the heck, no marks on it either. I can't quite get my head around lubing the carriage rod and cleaning the encoder fixing this.
