What kind of vinyl is that?

Hello.
One of our clients wants us to make a door look like this:

We have worked with the Frosted Glass vinyl before, but this one looks way different.
Do you know what kind of material is that?

Looks like glue chip that has been ground and sandblasted, not a film. That was all the rage for a few years around these parts in the last decade.

Nope that aint vinyl its blasted and Im sure it was awesome back in the day

there is no way you can recreate that with vinyl

that is not film. that is sandblasted. film only has one thickness so it looks like a silhouette.

yes you can print on frosted vinyl but i doubt it will look like a real sandblasted glass.

If someone's willing to pay for the artwork, time, etc.- I'm sure a faux version could be created/printed.

Only way I could think of getting close is with printing a mixture of light black and white together onto clear. You'd never be able to do anything close with frosted as there is no way to leave minuscule areas of "clear".

we printed this onto etchlook vinyl and plotted it for a restaurant window. We don't have the ability to use white so we didn't get too fancy with bevels and such. Turned out pretty good.
