What wrap material to use!

Over the last 10+ years I have used 3Ms IJ180 and IJ280 for most of the wraps we print and apply.
This is mainly due to the ease of application of these products (sometimes).

I have noticed that other wrap media manufactures prices are a lot more competitive than 3Ms and in some cases 30-60% cheaper.
This with the ongoing increase in 3Ms materials in the UK, it is no longer viable to use this media as the costs now far out weigh the application benefits.

What is other printers applicators opinions on this?
What is everyones favourite wrap media based on price, application and longevity?

Thanks

I never liked IJ180C and have always used Avery MPI1105 with DOL1360Z laminate. But if the price increases are due to being US imports, perhaps you could try Oracal.

We use 3M 180, Avery 1105 and occasionally Arlon (#???). We stay away from Oracal.

The cheaper stuff is just that - CHEAP!!!

Don’t stake your business and reputation on saving a few bucks. You will regret it later. This is just my personal opinion. You do what is best for you and your business.

I used to use the 3M until I couldn't get it once so I per peoples advice on this forum I used Arlon SLX - and I love it! Been using it since around Covid and so far I have not gotten any complaints or seen any peeling vinyl on the vehicles I've done.
