I use TransferRite AirMask: https://abitape.com/product/transferrite-airmask-510u-digital/

It says "medium tack", but trust me - it's very aggressive. Works great for any vinyl that's tough to grab / lift. 7725, frosted films, etc. Also -- dry installs only. Decals just don't have enough tack to stay down (with this tape) if there's even a hint of app fluid residue underneath (unless you have the time/patience for a long drying period).

Freezer method works too. I use high tac premask but also flip them upside down and pull the backing plastic away from the premask.

I have sprayed the premask with isopropyl once it is all applied and this seems to help the tape to release easier.

Trouble with mask on the clear backed 3m is usually due to cutting too deep, causing the liner to get a deep enough score to generate a raised edge, which keeps the edge from being grabbed by the mask appropriately. Your cutter should leave marks, but you shouldn't readily feel them.

Same here. Although it's pretty rare that I take ADA jobs these days. Outside of the occasional 10-20pc jobs (I don't mind jobs that are big enough to be worthwhile, but small enough I can knock them out relatively quickly) -- 95% of the ADA potential jobs I see are the ones where a GM walks in with a massive stack of blueprints for an entire property "bid this to make us ADA compliant".
As a very busy one-man shop -- there simply isn't time to spend days interpreting blueprints, only to bid against companies that have optimized workflows and lower costs, so I have to pass on 'em. But props to the folks who can capitalize on that market! :)

That is true, but if the customer lets the 7725 PM decals sit around for a long time it's very hard to get the backing off
