I have an Erbend metal folding brake, a shear, an sds channel bender, a Haffner double miter saw, and a few other items. Can anyone tell me either here or other sites, what is the best way to sell these? Respectfully thank you.

there is an assumption that craigslist, offerup & facebook marketplace favor local pickup

i have bought most of my equipment IN NOT WORKING CONDITION from online sellers from EBAY, CRAIGSLIST, OFFERUP AND FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE

i listed them in descending order of price (i expect to pay the most for the same item on ebay & the least on facebook marketplace)

The best thing you can do is list in multiple places. Put an ebay ad up for a national audience, then list locally on OfferUp, FB Marketplace & Craigslist.

Even industry guys search these places for equipment like that. A good listing with photos, a video, and plenty of keywords will get you far.

very true!
i am incredibly cheap.
i only purchase new when i am cornered with no way out.

ebay gives the widest audience but i have purchased many pieces of equipment within as little as 20 miles.
several pieces i didn't have any intention of purchasing until i saw the offering

There's global garage. We sold our hp flatbed through there. They take care of the whole transaction. But they have a heafty fee.

Been trying to sell my CNC router local for months and only interest comes from people who want it crated and shipped. Cost as much or more to crate and ship as I am asking for a 50"x100" Gerber Sabre router. me cash and get it out of my way. Selling out a 73 year old shop that has some nice equipment but trying to just sell local has not been working out as well as hoped. To point may remove the spindle motor with controller, vacuum pump hold down then sell the router for scrap as over 1,000 pounds of aluminum will get some money and it out of my way. Guy near me running two CNC routers had his rent double and abandoned his routers rather than keep paying rent till they sold. Have an entire screen print shop and not had one person even respond to any ads. Welders, sheet metal equipment, and small to medium tools are selling well but anything really big seems to be difficult to sell.

we have bought EVERYTHING from one of the auction services or from a shop going out of business.
several of my guys say i never buy anything under 700 lbs. (probably true if you say 300 lbs.)

when i bought my mutoh hybrid, it came from dallas tx in a church basement.
we are in nj.
i did really well with uship. (someone recommended. i never heard of them before)
shipping was under$1000 (i classified it as breakable household goods.)

we have purchased around 12 heavy things from C2liquidations in west virginia (Tryc2 on ebay)
i just got a 44 designjet from them last week. shipping was $420. with ABK freight)

it can be done, and not for a terrible price. i wish you were closer, i love the sabers)
