Let's say I have 100 folders. I want to take all of the files from them,
extract them and merge into a common folder.
Como?

A pain in the ass but I find that I Drag & Drop in Explorer to work.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Put all of those folders into one folder.....

Do a search for *.* ONLY in that new folder.

This is your wildcard for any file, then arrange your findings by type. Select everything except the folders. Cut them, then paste them into your new location.

Yes...the good old search function. I use it all the time. Its uses are so overlooked.

Want to surprise yourself? Goto your wife or doughter's computer and search .jpg and see what pops up. LMAO. Just don't tell her that trick. She might crafty and search your computer for .mpeg or .mov and find God knows what!

A friend of mine was going to buy a broken computer off of a family with hopes that I could fix it for him. The boot sector of the hard drive was screwy, but most of the information was still on it. In their "my docs" section was a folder for each of the family members.
In one of the son's folders was porn.

Lots of porn.....

Lots of GAY porn.

I kept my mouth shut about this to my friend because he was friends with the family. If he's not out of the closet yet, it's not going to be me letting the cat out of the bag... "Hey, johnny. My computer guy wanted to know if you wanted all of your GAY PORN back..."
