I use the Matthews Paint System for most things but for that much color I've begun using BenMoore "Command". It's pre-tinted black and is very easy to work with.

I second this. If this is to be an exterior sign, painting white PVC black is the better option. Black PVC will fade and warp (maybe not warp at 1", but 1/2" definitely did for me) and is more reactive to the elements especially heat.

I had failure like you've experienced as well and in their literature they suggest "Insl-X Stix" which is a urethane acrylic primer. I haven't had failure since I started using it.

I've used them in the past and have worked out well. I acquired them from the person I bought my printer from so I didn't realize how low cost they are or where to find them so thanks for posting this. I've also bought 45 degree blades from fellers and my local supplier as well.

We've had success with premasking the print and then still using a 1/16" bit for 3mm and 1/8" for 6mm.

I only allow companies to supply their own materials when it's something expensive and specialty that I don't want to purchase myself. If this person is trying to lessen their costs they can just buy their own laminator with what they're attempting to save. Force them to get their own laminator...

I agree, but non-glare instead of frosted. And just black vinyl on the 2nd surface of the acrylic.

I used a DCS printer years ago and wasn't too content with it. I now have my own company and just purchased a Mutoh 661. So far I'm very happy with the easy of use and how it's cartridge fed for the inks. I'm just finishing up my first ADA job on it.

I gave up trying to quantify machine time for vinyl. Wether it's 1 minute or 10 minutes, I just run the file and walk away for the same amount of time to work on something else. Basically I don't run a plotter often enough to need to quantify it running. Also, if it's a job that has extreme...

I just experienced the same thing on my PC. I just reinstalled CM4 and let the computer immediately restart and it started working again.

I've used 3420 for nearly a decade and have never experienced that problem. No solution to give, I've never experienced it before.

Received the same burnt in logo from Grimco as well.Never reported it because luckily I was already doing full coverage decals. It was still annoying that the ghosting was there and keeps being distributed
