  1. How do you advertise / promote your business to get more business?

Been at this end of the racket for over 30 years and I still get the occasional person saying..."I had no idea that you even existed!?" As much as I want to slap them I have to remind myself that it's on me that they don't know. What's the lesson to be learned here? Be relentless with getting...
  2. Business Names with no meaning

For a moment I thought you were talking politics.
  3. Ink Usage Not Recording

We 're printing a bunch of stuff on our HP 365 and even though I know we are using the LM the noted volume of ink remaining in the cartridge has not changed. Looking at past usage for this project it will have used up at least 15ml this morning but the accounting panel and the touch screen both...
  4. With a heavy heart!!

It is obvious from the posts that he had a tremendous and lasting impact on so many. My condolences to all of you, his family and friends.
  5. Our 365 Has A Broken Tape Measure

I have printed who knows how many full rolls and I have only seen this a few times during the past week. As suggested there is definitely a lag or disconnect between the RIP and the printer. Could it be the computer is not powerful enough to keep up? Do we need to clear out a cache?
  6. Our 365 Has A Broken Tape Measure

Here's a pic and a few things stand out. First is that the media is 42" wide, not 64" as shown. Second, the print shows as being 101 inches, which I think is close to the actual length of the job yet the time for printing is just under two hours. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  7. Printer Problems! Is something stuck?

Stacey K, as a newb I would like to thank you because I know that one day I will do the same thing.
  8. Our 365 Has A Broken Tape Measure

I ran a few jobs using up a few 150' rolls of media. When I switched materials and ran a small 30" canvas the printer caught me off guard and was about to "print" another 80' of nothingingness. I checked the original file, the Flexi page, the PM and everything I thought of to see if I had added...
  9. Niagara Falls

Letchworth State Park - Good call. Buttermilk Falls State Park at the south end of Cayuga Lake is another cool spot. A great hike and right now the colours would be amazing.
  10. Printing United 2023 - You going?

My son and I walked the show on Thursday and Friday. Spent about $18 million (big dreams). Looked mainly at small format (Fuji, Sharp, Ricoh) flatbeds (Canon, StratoJet, Mimaki, Epson) and roll laminators (Rollover, Kala, Rollsroller). And we saw some interesting applications that we may be...
  11. Niagara Falls

This debate is as old as the 'The Chicken or The Egg' or 'Ford vs Chevy'. On the US side you are a stones throw from Buffalo and the Finger Lakes. The Albright Knox gallery is cool, the Historical Museum and the Science Museum are worth the visit. If you are a hockey fan NHL games in Buffalo...
  12. Latex Printer in apartment?

Memphis does get cold in the winter so the heat will be nice. But in the summer the heat and humidity will make trying to do business with your clients in your boxers or briefs a tough go. Though this is entry level gear, the power and space needed to accommodate this equipment may not be...
  13. So, I did this the other day...

Just ride the wall...apparently a winning strategy.
  14. HP named America’s Most Responsible Company!

What, you mean none of this is real? Another crushing blow to my (you can do anything, even though you have done nothing) spirit. I think I'll just curl up somewhere and dream up my own flag.
  15. HP named America’s Most Responsible Company!

Received an emailthis morning form BMG stating that HP has been awarded the most responsible company for the fourth year in a row. What do you think...true to the word, green washing or a bit of both? Or maybe there are other incentives in place to put this out...
