I have a l28500. And it only happened with heads that were about to die. I never changed the cable. The l28500 has this extra cleaning during production which can be turned on in the settings. Not sure if your printer has it I would def replace the specific color heads before going into the cable.

you can try to activate the extra cleaining during printing. that might fix the second issue for a while.

Thnx for the input. I just wanted to be sure. I exchanged the take rewinder Module now. From the other printer that I can't get to start.. now it's tight!.

make sure you have the carriage on the exact same position on the belt as before!.. you can count the notches.. I think this is important, too!
