I will consider that, thanks. I have multiple samples of General Formulations with Matte canvas, fabric and smooth matte finish, and they all have shine on it. Does it mean that matte finish will not be completely matte, unless laminated? Or there are some tricks in Photoshop, Illustrator ...

That's the reason I didn't buy 1640: I was gonna do that purchase, but at the very last second I found out they print glossy only. With Epson I never heard they have glossy inks...that would be huge surprise...I do interiors only, so I don't do lamination.

I hope everyone is doing great. I printed a wall mural for a customer, and got back a feedback that it is too shiny. It does indeed looks shiny, even though I printed it on Avery Denisson MPI 2611 Matte finish. Printed on Epson S40600. Any body experiences the same issue? Thanks

I thought Onyx is not compatible with iMacs. Correct me if I am wrong. I have an iMac and was wondering what RIP software can go on Macintosh? Thank you

I recently bought an S40600 with GamaPrint as well. When I open a pdf file, previously saved from .ai vector in Illustrator, it becomes slightly pixelated, looks like teeth from hacksaw. And further more, the pixelation transfers to my actual print. Did anyone experience similar issues?

How do I save it properly, what format to use the best for Onyx:eps, tiff, pdf or something? Also how to scale it properly in without losing a quality: it is for wallpaper, so scaling usually is big.

I realized my mistake, and tried saving it as pdf or eps. It still printed with some pixelation. What is your suggestion? How should I scale the image properly, and how should I save it properly? Thank you

I will try to open the cover first. Gama Print is a Tiling Tool built in Onyx Rip software. The original image file is .ai vector file. I saved it as a jpeg, that's why I had the pixelation. I tried loading EPS or PDF files and there is still pixelation. Kind of confused...

Billct2, you are absolutely right about people use multiple names/sites to get more traffic. Some of them I was even able to distinguish, but still the question is where they get it from? Thank you

Thank you JBurton. It seems like majority of wallpaper printing companies (small to mid level ones) use the same picture stock. I already found some of them on Adobe stock website, but you got to pay $$.
