I have the old LPT port doggle, with the 1.5. I've never upgraded because I bought Flexi 8.1. I'd be interested in knowing what its worth. I still use it once in a great great while.
Oh, those were the days. I wouldn't want to get up that high anymore, but I did my share of it in the day. Never used a swing stage. Did all of mine off from a 85' skyhook. No pictorials, just lettering. It was a long walk up.
I use a BS for a lot of prints. I've done 4x8's - always get silvering but it goes away.
One needs to be sure the table is perfectly flat or you will get bubbles. My table seems to have a slight up turn near the edges, even though the top is screwed down. I have to keep my print away from...
I use to sew everything on a little one stich maching that I bought from a sewing center for about $250.00. If you go that way make sure the innards are made of steel and don't have any plastic parts. You have to sew everything twice to make a double stich - pain in the butt.
I decided to...
I wouldn't use an oil base paint (Ronan or 1-Shot) on a latex paint. Though 1-Shot does make a water base paint. You need to know what kind of paint the building has been painted with. I would assume it is a Latex.
I made the mistake early on of using an oil base sign paint on a latex base...
Create the image with a sheet of translucent film being laid over it. Have the film laying over half of the image from left to right with the right edge curled up and in the process of being laid down on the remainder of the image. It will carry the thought of protective coatings with it...
I figured it out. After I click on contour cut I have to seperate the contour cut. That lets the printer cut the outline of the letter and the shadow without cutting each of them seperately. But thanks for the help. I am indebted to all of you.
Yes I get the red marching ants, and they are marching where I do not want to cut.
Yes this is something new. It use to cut around the shadow and the letter and not seperate them.
I am using Flexi Pro and importing into VersaWorks.
When I apply the contour cut it cuts the entire outline of the shadow and the entire outline of the letter.
I just started doing this.
I want it to cut around the outside of the letter and the shadow, but I can't figure out how to make it do that.
I feel like I am flipping out or...
Something has gone wrong with my system.
When I try to open Flexi I get this message - "Application Requires A Hardware Key to be Installed, but none was found."
What's up with that?
Has anyone had this problem?
Need HELP.
Have a ton of printing to do and can't get at it.
