I am designing yard signs to send off to a printer. I just saw it was a new feature but I dont think it is working. I have it figured out in illustrator.
Has anyone tried to use the variable data feature in flexi 21 and then export to pdf's? I was on the phone for 20 min yesterday with Flexi and they had no idea.
I was printing a small 1440x1440 ink limit file for profiling and it was extremely slow. The printer would make 1 pass and pause. I rebooted the computer and it seems to be running fine now. I just upgraded to the latest version from the first version.
Just make sure to lift you head as high as it will go. You still might get head strikes even then. I hurt the head on my mimkai cjv trying this material.
I have the following es3 liters of ink for sale for $30 per liter. I switched to ss21 inks.
3 liters of cyan
3 liters of yellow
1 liter of red
2 liters of black
These have not been opened and expire in 2020-21
Changing from es3 to ss21 inks. I have completed the discharge and wash and now 2 of my ink boards are not recognizing the ink carts and will not do a fill up. I have heard there is a way through service mode to set the ink and tell the printer it is filled up. Then I think I can do a head...
I seem to get better prints when I dont add heat to the printer for printing photo banners. The machine is a cjv30-130. What are the reasons to run heat for printing banner vinyl?
Jason
I bought a cjv30-130 from grimco and set it up myself. i called and they said it was fine to set it up myself. Gave me more time with the tech that did come out to go over other things.
I am looking for a glossy (15 oz) banner material that will not curl over time.. These banners will hang in a gym by the top of the banner and go into a point at the bottom. Any suggestions??
Thank You
Jason
I have ran less than 40% of the es3 inks in my mimaki. I am really thinking about going to the ss21 for speed and more profiles. Do you think I can flush with the 60% cleaning carts that came with the printer and go to the ss21 from the es3? Or should I buy new cleaning carts? I did put tape on...
I have version 6 of perfect resize. I cant tell that much difference between photoshop cs6 and PR6. Maybe just me. I have never printed a perfect resize image and compared to a photoshop print. I mostly print 3'x5' in size so far. Never really tested it on larger prints....
