    Thanks for the feedback everyone! The lam is definitely thicker than 6mil, has to be closer to 18-20mil. The Decals came from zdecals.com. It does not seem to hurt the carpet much or if at all from what I've seen, but I haven't had time to stick them myself at this time to see.

    Learning to use the knife on a vehicle is a huge help when it's needed, I learned how to properly cut vinyl on a balloon... Makes you learn really fast when you pop one by cutting too deep or peaking the blade haha.

    I would use 3M Finish Line Knifeless Tape to lay out your lines, then Lay the vinyl on top in one piece, enough to cover each edge by about an inch, you should only need to use a knife on the ends to cut flush with the bed. Are you using Cast or Calendared vinyl?
