I tried to use a flashlight and watch the media and printhead as it was printing, and it looks like the streaks come from under the print head as best I can tell. But it sure doesn't look like the vinyl touches the print head.

all I did was switch printer from IJ 35C 30" wide to Ora 3651RA 48" wide to print a hood wrap from the same exact design for a race car. For giggles, I switched back to IJ 35C and it left the streaks again. The same exact design printed flawlessly on the Ora 3651? Wonder what the problem...

i don't think is it always blue.......I have wiped the encoder strip....now found something strange, This was printed on 3M IJ35C, I switched to ORA3651RA tonight and it seems to have disappeared. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not????

any ideas?

I'm doing some small decals for a local car lot, they are contour cut, and probably need application tape on them. Looking for some advice on what is a good App tape to use on printed vinyl...oracal 3651 RA? I've used some R-Conform 4075 RLA before and it transfers well, but will not stick at...

**update** OK I think I'm back in business.....I have another race car side set print now...after repeated cleanings/ printing magenta blocks/ and nozzle checks, it finally fired back up! I hope all is well now! thanks!

all other colors print perfect...nozzle is missing magenta completely...all others are perfect

I've "strong" cleaned it 3 times now...and tried to print magenta blocks....I don't see any air in the lines now...but still not printing magenta?
