I think I got it! After cleaning and cleaning again....I got to looking under the print head and found a long fuzzy under the print head. I've printed quite a bit today and the problem seems to be gone! thanks again guys! This site is great!

thanks again for the replies! As of now, I just did 3 "strong" cleanings and is seemed to take care of it. But for further maintenance, I will put a little cleaning solution in the capping station. I have never done that before, so I'm sure it will help! thanks again!

FATCAT, I will use your tip and try the cleaning solution in the cap station. Also, I took drain tray out and looking into the machine i did notice a 1 or 2 mostly try, gummy ink hanging in the "downspout" that goes into the drain tray.

I took my black in cartridge out and shook it a little, and seems like ink is in it. I just did 3 "strong" cleanings, and each time it seamed to have gotten better, I don't see any air in the lines and my nozzle check is back to about normal. I'm going to try to do a print again and see how it...

thanks everyone! Pretty sure it is vinyl contamination, and what a pain! I used a paper towel and wiped a few feet of vinyl off, reprinted, and it seems to have taken care of the problem. Glad I found the culprit, very glad it wasn't a printer issue, but it still is a pain in the rump!!

I printed one side out and was nearly flawless, then this was the second side which ended up with some major spots. wondering if the the vinyl could be contaminated?? its a new roll though?
