All these extra steps make me feel that a solvent might be too much for me.
I’m use to latex. Just don’t like the color issues from HP. The Epson Resin looks great but the print samples I got don’t look as good as the 80600.
I may have to liquid laminate some Phototex. I don’t have the need to liquid laminate things that often so I don’t have a liquid laminator.
My question is can you rollout your print and spray a light film with a hlvp sprayer and get good results?
Also, how long should I wait to roll up and...
I’m about to buy a Epson s80600. Can anyone tell me if there are issues with edge curling when printing murals. Our main thing is printing murals. I hear solvent printers have this issue.
Do they ever complain about the smell or have strict environmental requirements? The main selling point of any Latex or even the Canon Colorado is that museums and hospitals almost prefer their printers.
Ya. I don’t think I could charge that much even if I was running a Colorado. You must be doing very large volumes? Or my pricing might be way off. $5-$10 a sq foot at times. We do laminate and we we’re running HP latex printers that are sometimes problematic.
I was quoted 42k for a brand new 1630 delux at Lexjet. I’m really irritated because canon never quoted us anything. Our sales rep keeps calling and coming by for 2 months and has not shown me anything. He insists on talking about it. I keep asking just to send me a physical quote.
It’s more like $445 here for ij40 but it use to be a lot less. I remember when we first started we used Orical 3169 and it worked fine but a friend had suggested 40c and from then on it was our go to for wall and floor decals.
For years we've been using 3M IJ40-r vinyl for a majority of our vinyl prints including wall murals. We liked it because it's a good versatile vinyl we could use for many types of applications. Now that is's close to $500 a roll when it use to be under $300 it's eating into our margins too much...
