printing styrene is awful but we do run 20, 30 and 40 mil quite often. I find it easier if I die cut my sheets down to near final size first and print small sheets versus full 4x8' sheets.
40 mil prints the best, way less likely to warp and headstrike than 20 mil is. If you print nothing but...

Selling our 2020 HP Latex 570 w/ Bulk Ink system.
Used 2-3 times a week since we purchased in Jan 2020 for $25,000. No warranty included but you can purchase one from HP. Selling to make room for something larger.
It's a great printer to supplement your other machines. Start a roll and leave...
Yep you guys figured it out. 3L / $285 and 5L / $325, as well as larger belt width
30% savings and 30% more thru-put. It is no coincidence that the MSRP of the R2000 is 30% more expensive than the R1000 :)
When running at 3p, turn your density up as high as it can go. Also check color profile...
did you ever solve this? I'm curious what the issue was.
Looks like either the glass had defects or the optimizer needs increased
What profile are you using, generic HP glass ?
yep size on printer IPS is affected by margin setup in onyx, but as for the "out of parameter" with auto measure on, it's because the machine will measure the board at 0.XX smaller. So for example if you are loading 18x24 coro, it'll read it as 18x23.89" or something. Thus out of parameter

My info is a copy/paste from my thread. It's info from pre MR3 firmware, back in 2019. White ink in sandwhich mode minimum 33 pass.
Since then they've added 25 pass, but it's not opaque enough for most jobs
Never done spot color with white
Wanted to follow up with our daily maintenance:
Clean pinch roller - 3 minutes
Scrape filter cages - 2 minutes
that's it :)
There are of course routine maintenances that occur between every 2 days and 3 months. These on average take a few minutes each. Most of it is just wiping off build up...
Lots of bunk in this thread, not sure where you guys are getting your info.
I have a thread here on the forum where I have been documenting my findings with this new printer, and answering questions from the community. There was not much real world info on the internet when I bought this thing...
Hey everyone-
Sorry I've been gone a the last few months. Had our first baby in March :)
Just wanted to report in that since upgrading to the R2000, we've printed 1M sqft and had roughly 12 total hours of downtime in 6 months.
If you're still on the fence about this thing... you should...
R1000 sold guys, thanks for all the calls and messages.
We had the R2000 installed back in Sept 2020 and it's been excellent. Same high quality with 30% more throughput and 30% cheaper ink.
Emailed you.
In case you didn’t get it, our r1000 is for sale here:

There’s a maintenance on the r1 to clean the belt every x days. Not a difficult process especially with latex inks. However I agree getting excessive ink on the belt could be bad.
I’m not sure they sale a mesh printable without a backer, but there is a “cloth” material specifically designed...
I did not, but I looked into it. It's in alabama I think and is a 3 day program. Not sure if it's running now with COVID. Also, pretty sure you get a discount on parts after completing it. Could be wrong..
