We exported out of s.l. into rasterlink using the plug in with the marks....call me tomorrow

We are working on setting up the new setup, with S.L. 9.1, using the Rasterlink plug in...and plotting using production manager.... we have it all working except when it plots it seems to do so about .25" off... can not figure out why... anyone using this that can assist or share any tricks...

Agreed Gary. Charge a bit more (or what should be charged). I run only OEM ink.

Do you have a pic... color drop out in different shapes, positions can be caused by different issues.

Hello. On my 33 when installing a new ink (o.e.m.) the red light stays on steady. If i put the existing ink it blinks (as it needs replacing). This has been happening.. any ideas on why?

We found that brake fluid was the best solution. Wipe on, wipe off.

Yes, we did.... after no luck, we sold our plotter and got a Graphitek... we also had other friends with similar issues, went with graphitek or summa's. wish I had an better answer that resolved your issues.

There may be a few things here... we use much of the ij40c. .. similar to the ij35c... we use a cast laminate (8519). Printing with a full bleed is not an issue... As long as you print it and let it cure correctly. 1) No more then 220% ink coverage. If you use the vendor profiles... you don't...

Joe. Not sure if this makes it right.... but we have gotten much .25" Acrylics from Gemini.... larger stuff... stud mounted... just threaded... no cams for the studs. Has worked out well for us... we now use the same method in the shop.

The JV3 and 33 are completely different machines, from the inks to the single printhead.. You will need those profiles. We called Mimaki and found a gentleman who came in a profiled each of our vinyls to our printer vs using the "stock" ICC profiles, night and day, we hit our colors first time...
