Seaun, thanks for the reply. Have you been using the IJ40 for over years now? I do not intend to use this for wraps, just "spot" graphics, and truck bands (6" printed bands that run around the perimeter of a fleet of vans) 3M does warrantee this vinyl.

Hello All, We have consistently used 3M 180c w/8519 on all of our vehicle lettering.We are now lookingat using IJ40C w/8508 as this apprears to be a very nice film(Not for wraps). Does anybody have any experience using this over a id of time? Any pro's, con's? Thanks in advance.

I completely agree with RJM Signs, DPM is sold in all SW stores, SW does not offer automotive paints... anyhow hit with DPM after using scotchbrite

We never use the vendor profiles. We have a color management guy come up and make them. Every printer is different and will lay out more or less ink then the next. Also, if you read 3M's bulletin... you should never wrap a whole window as the window expands and contracts. I hate to side with...

We use .50" acrylic, exterior for raised letters, etc. Being in the north we may have less issues then in the south. I read your posts elsewhere about PVC last night. What are you using in place of PVC?

I have it. Easy to learn and use. Naturally I can critique some of its user friendliness. Overall I would buy it again. Easy color management. I Use it on my Mimaki JV-3 / 33 and Seiko Colorpainter. One thing you may want to do as a beginner is to purchase the tech support from them... or better...
