The problem is probably your profile. Try turning it off if possible and then print process yellow.

We have a vutek and suffered with ink starvation issues for over a year. In our case it turned out to be the dampers. They regulate the flow of ink from our secondary tanks to the heads. If your negative pressure line has a leak or a kink ink will weep from the heads with no vacuum to hold it up.

Looks like your yellow is acting up too. Does your printer have dampers? If you pause the printer right before the dropout and run a purge what happens? Does this extend print time before the dropout?

Our mesh usually welds just fine however the material itself is easier to pull apart compared to our normal banner or flex material. I usually weld two pieces together and if I feel it needs a little extra strength stitch over the seam. Its really not a big deal working that much material...

If you have a plotter you may be able to do a sheet cut. We use our mimaki to sheet material for our screen printing jobs.

Yes definitely. That would also confirm if its the nozzles that are out on your black head or if there is still air in the lines. If there is still air in the lines then when you swap the heads the black will still be printing poorly while the light cyan will be printing fine.
