a Summa S120D cutting plotter comes on thursday. I got it used by a Summa dealer in my town for a fairly good price. It will be used to cut stickers printed by my Mimaki print&cut so that I can contour cut while I am printing.

because too pricey compared to an equivalent Graphtec just for similar performance. Also because the software that comes with it is very bad. (I need a FC8000-100 and would have to go to a S class T 120).

I never trust rebranded items, they usually do not have the same firmware, just not worth the few money saved.
2nd reason: I'm in France, an european dealer is more appropriate for such tool ;-)

you print on oracal 651? Is there any reason why? (it's aimed at cut vinyl, not as print vinyl).
I sometimes print on 651 when I need to print black on a specific vinyl color but do your regularily do this?
I do quite a lot of small stickers with black background that will be placed on black substrate, I find the 10 10 10 100 not black enough on this dark substrate as it appears "faded". So I use 50 40 40 100 for small stickers for dark substrate, 30 30 20 100 for small stickers for light...
ok but what is the color code
(in Rasterlink, go in the color edit tab, you can see in color replacement a color picker that tells you the color code)?
