  8. Laptop skins on Fathead

I saw these on Fathead today. You can make graphic skins to put on laptops and they are easy to remove (no residue). Very cool and thought good promotional branding for some companies. http://www.fathead.com/skins/ Any idea what media you would use for this? Is it the same as the material...

  10. Laws coming for Phthalate-Free goods

Starting in February any clothing including t-shirts and labels that are for children or put on toys, equipment used by children will need to be lead-free and phthalate-free. You will have to show that your goods have been tested for this. Anyone heard of this or know if the vinyl and ink...

  12. Shop tables

Also check out auctions in your area for companies going out of business. You can sometimes pick up tables, shelving etc pretty cheap depending how many show up for the auction. Doesn't have to be a sign shop - can be a manufacturer closing up and has lots of good stuff.

  18. Printing like Summa

Fred, does this hold true if its the Gerber Edge FX. I notice another post that I think you say the FX is harder to get anything other than their own brand of materials. I would like to get a second hand Edge but being a newbie, I feel I need the support of a warranty and training that I can get...
  19. Gerber Pricing

In my case, I need very durable decals and when I tested the inkjet printers, some colours in the decals were fading. I don't want to get into laminating them so thermal may be the answer for me. Have to get some samples done up and test them out to be sure.
  20. Gerber Pricing

I saw the ND graphics as distributor but didn't think they could be the only one in Canada with it. They have Summa too. Not sure if only ones in Canada for that one too. Not much competition especially when you see WA has so many for one state!
