  1. HP 365 Latex Printer Power Backup and Surge Protection

I spoke with my supplier today and he said that it's more likely that the low voltages will do the damage than higher voltages. Regarding the surge protector - I've managed to get lucky and purchased 3 units, but they seem to have went out of production. I'm looking for a device that will do a...

  3. HP 365 Latex Printer Power Backup and Surge Protection

Thank you for all this info, guys. I really appreciate it. The backup systems are definitely too pricey, but what about something that protects well against surges and low voltages? 4. HP 365 Latex Printer Power Backup and Surge Protection

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on what device I can use as a power backup and voltage regulator / surge protector for my HP365. Power info: The HP Latex 365 is a powerful printer, and under a full load, you can expect the power consumption to spike. Thus, HP provides a unique power...
  5. Question Warping Substrate - HP Latex 365

I hear you on the temperatures but what number of passes do you use on these? Sometimes I want to go a bit faster but then the ink doesn't dry so you have to put an interval between the passes or just increase the pass number.
  6. Need Help Hp 360 - Gray prints pink - encoder strip

I believe the issue may be in the software / substrate setting. Color correction needs to be turned. off.
  7. HP Latex 365 color consistency

I have an update on this. Was having an issue with the pink / magenta hue in the greyscale prints. I changed the media profile to the Generic and switched off the color correction to eliminate the issue. Image attached shows the print with pink hue (with color correction), and the correct image...
  8. Need Help Hp 360 - Gray prints pink - encoder strip

That's a good point. I'll try it - at least this is some progress.
  11. Flexi Write Port Error for HP 64 Cutter

Found the problem: Aside from the driver not being installed (SUMMA CUTTER USB X64 PORT 1 V10.0) I went into the cutter setup properties and the Barcode Server was set to 'start barcode server automatically' - I checked it off and the cutter is now working.
  12. Flexi Write Port Error for HP 64 Cutter

I'm not finding the HP driver for this cutter anywhere, including HP site. All they have is the cutter control software and firmware for the cutter. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 11 problem. The cutter works fine on my other laptop with PM. Still searching online for solutions.
  13. Flexi Write Port Error for HP 64 Cutter

Thanks for that info. The connection is USB. I tried installing the Summa driver and made some progress. The cutter is connected to the computer, and it's reading to a certain extent in flexi / production manager, however, I still cannot send a cut from Flexi. I managed to get the media width...
  14. Flexi Write Port Error for HP 64 Cutter

Recently I installed FLEXI22 to work with my Roland printer, and HP 64 Cutter. While trying to install and connect the HP64 cutter, first I noticed that it wasn't even connecting to the computer - drivers had to be updated which I managed to get from the SUMMA website...
  15. Question HP 365 Users. What the deal with the number of passes?

I find little to no difference between 6p, and 10-12p, however, the curing temperature is an issue because our media tends to warp at the higher temperatures. I try to avoid going above 210F. If anyone has any advice how to dry media faster without the warping issue, please advise. I know you...

  19. HP Latex 365 color consistency

I've had no luck fixing this problem. Even my supplier can't figure it out. Luckily I have another printer (Roland) that I can work with if I have this issue with certain prints.
  20. Question Warping Substrate - HP Latex 365

It's a bit of a learning curve to figure out the right temperature, passes, and delays to use on each media, but with constant use, you'll get it. For adhesive vinyl, I use 210F, 12p with no delay and it works out fine for me, but you may need to go even lower in temperature if you find that...
