Our Mutoh ValueJet 1304 is not printing Magenta. Seems to not be pulling from magenta cartridge. The tubes on the head are not solid with ink. My magenta cartridge seems to have some ink left in it still, I can hear it and it feels full enough and of course the read out says it is above 40%...

Well, this one does. It's a crew cab, maybe they put solids ones in that model more so.

I was thinking of using either 3m 1080 or Avery Supreme Wrap. It MAY be possible to use non wrap vinyl as you suggest but a lot more chance for error and having to do things twice or three times even. Since it really isn't much vinyl I was thinking around 700. Am I crazy?

I'd like to try doing it in vinyl, no printing. We do print - not wraps though only for flat surfaces. I understand the formula, but I do not know how long it will take being haven't dealt with wrapping, which this seems close to.

Aren't Punch Through letters actually pushed through an already cut out substrate? Maybe I am confused with the terms. I guess push through doesn't actually mean pushed through, just the appearance. These appear to just be glued flush to the acrylic surface.

Do you think 3 layers are really needed?
