I second Magnum. Overall their material will have the best quality. Yes, I have had defective material from them but not to the same degree as other magnetic manufacturers.
Try Nite.

That link should give you several options. Find the one that will work with your Roland.
Its in Korea and if you buy one you pay international shipping but its still cheaper than buying one here in the...
We switched to STS. No problems with the inks. You shouldn't have to re-profile your printers. There were slight color changes with the STS ink but I mean very slight. Most people wouldn't notice. Where we ran into initial problems with the printers was due to the bulk systems. It took us a...
Just to clarify, the pouch type cartridge works the same way a regular ink cartridge does. It has the foil pouch on the inside but in this case it is fed from the bulk reservoir.
We switched off of Mutoh inks around 3 years ago.
You will need the NAPIS-B15 IP SC 4S. This is the 4 bulk tanks with the 4 pouch type cartridges. Do not get the float type cartridges. They work but are messy.
You may be able to find a better price through a vendor here in the US. I bought...

You can get a chip charger and smart cards from www.solventcartridges.com.
Thats what I do anyway.
Lots of good 3rd party bulk inks out there. STS and Jetbest to name a few.
I second FatCat. All our Mutoh's are on the Knite Bulk Ink System. We also bought a smart card charger along with the smart cards/codes from sovlentcartridges.com. JetBest has good prices on bulk ink and the ink works great. No issues.
Intermittent Head Heat Error is due to the CR Cables. Constant Head Heat error is either the head or the Main board. The problem is "almost" never the CR board. When I say almost, it is extremely rare for the CR board to go bad.
Marabu makes a liquid laminator called the StarLam 1600. We bought one a few months back and it works great. The worst thing about it is the cleanup.

Check your network cable. When we moved to our new facility my Mutoh's did the exact same thing. Turns out it was a bad network cable in the wall. We replaced it and it fixed the problem. Just a thought.
We print on DigiMag every day and have had maybe two fly-offs in the last 3 years. Both were due to improper installation on the customers side of things.
