I prefer the 'A" brand to others as it is a little thinner and has less tunnel issues.
Plus, you can print black on it with eco-sol.
Oracal and most of the other you can't.

I assume Windows OS.
from a DOS window type: ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
where the X's are the IP address of the printer.
to open a DOS window, go to Start-> Run -> type CMD

I was having issues with a FC7000.
It would scan the first mark fine about 75% of the time, then error on the others.
I put some matte lam over the reg marks(print with oracal 210 gloss lam), and it completed scan fine several times in a row.
Tried the dark room trick with no luck as...
Same here.
Already signed up, I just make a day trip out of it.
I always learn a thing or two there.
But, it may just be a repeat of items you saw at the ISA show.
