  1. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Hantavirus is pretty much a Southwest thing. Bubonic plague too.
  2. US Tariffs, Sigh!

The videos don't show that. The woman was not in over her head. They had people coming regularly to do various maintenance things (a landscape guy is the one who found them). Anybody so exposed can contract hanta, and go from feeling fine one day, sick the next and suddenly dead later that day...
  3. Q: Filling removed pin mounted holes + apply vinyl "dots" over holes after

When we do them in stucco we use clear silicone or the the white vinyl paintable 30 yr caulk (it is called ALEX on the tube). Then you can spot paint them to match the wall color. On silver ACM I might not fill the hole at all, assuming they aren't much bigger than the studs were. If you are...
  4. US Tariffs, Sigh!

It's pretty easy for mice to get into a house. But not a sign of poor housekeeping. But if you look at pictures of Gene Hackman's house, it's a sprawling compound with multiple buildings and garages. It's very easy for mice to be in garages and outbuildings. They love eating car wiring, for example.
  5. US Tariffs, Sigh!

House doesn't have to be a mess for there to be mice or rats or native small rodents. In New Mexico the most common vector is the deer mouse. The virus is in its droppings or urine, and all you have to do is sweep out a shed that an infected mouse has been in and breathe the dust to get pneumonia.
  6. BUMPER STICKER MATERIAL

Bumper stickers are not air egress. People can put them on just fine. They have since what, the 1940s without air release? I would also consider using regular calendared material with removable adhesive. And not laminate it. Unless they want people to leave the bumpersticker on for many years...
  7. Hello from Minnesota

    Hi. Welcome.
  8. Looking for better vinyl for making stickers

Shrink wrap? Wax? Heatgun? None of those has any part in decal production. You don't need to learn how Stickermule does things. You need to learn what everybody does. And what you are actually working with. You print on adhesive vinyl, which comes on a carrier, usually paper, sometimes plastic...
  9. Looking for better vinyl for making stickers

Not true. Most air release vinyl has paper backer.
  10. Looking for better vinyl for making stickers

If the paper comes up with the vinyl you are cutting too deep. Check your blade length on the plotter, and if it's correct then reduce your cutting force. Most plotters you turn the blade length to the thickness of the vinyl (3 mil) then 1 mil more.
  11. Corel Upgrade

The buy once is a relatively new feature...did it return with this 2025 version? It was only a few years back they eliminated it and forced us all to subscribe. I used to just buy when I saw that something I wanted was being included, or for better .ai or .pdf import capability. The biggest new...

  13. Corel Upgrade

I got the same email yesterday and it installed alongside all my old versions from every year. Just the same as always.
  14. US Tariffs, Sigh!

It is a country which Communist China claims is not a separate country due to their imperialist designs. The "world" (UN, IOC, etc.), now being afraid of China since they have all sold their souls to China and are owned by China, are playing along pretending that China is right. It wasn't that...
  15. Illustrator "outline view" vs. corel "Wireframe view"

No. It is showing you exactly what it asked you to show it, which is a wireframe outline of every vector object in the layout. It has nothing to do with whether there is a stroke applied to the vector line or not.
  16. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Hong Kong was always slated to return to China, though it was a much different China that got it back than the one that leased it to the British.
  17. Epson S80600 feeder spool running twice as fast as take-up spool

The feed spooler not only allows material to feed from the roll, it also turns back to apply tension. Sounds like yours wasn't turning back. Maybe you accidentally hit the switch for reverse wound material?
  18. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Taiwan is NOT part of China. It is where the Chinese royal family escaped the Communist insurrection. (Funny, that word. On January 6, 2021 it was viewed as a bad thing and the "insurrectionists" needed to be hunted down and locked up for a long time. But here we have leftists saying that the...
  19. using ChatGPT for sign design and logos

The designs fail on big prints because what you get is something like 640x320 pixel image.
  20. Techniques with vehicle wrap / livery

I take it you are using something like Avery Conform Red Chrome wrapping file for the chrome red. If that's the case, here's what I would do: 1. Wrap the trunklid with the chrome red, then apply the white stripes and the logo and number. 2. Wrap the side with printed and cut white vinyl that...
