As far as the skulls go, I think if it is done correctly, not cheap/cheesy looking than it is okay, as far as in a logo I have yet to find a logo that actually belongs in a logo.
We use the Scott shop towels, they are blue. You can get them almost anywhere... lowes, walmart, auto shops ect. They work really well, next to no lint, they are soft but hold up really well!
Not sure if this is off topic... but from what I noticed it depends on the industry your in, if you need experience or schooling. In a trade, I believe experiance can more times speak louder than schooling. But with something like law, medical, engineering you need the schooling.

I personally don't like the whole test thing... because I am not good at general testing... never have been, but I was in college during my junior year in high school, and have been able to self teach myself almost all I know about computers, designing and now sign production (with s101's help...
We haven't had many issues, but just as you've now implemented, we have a template in flexi that we apply to anything that is designed, and it has an area for a signature and date, and it has a disclaimer that says that by signing it the customer is held responsible for any misspellings or...
