Personal way of doing things I suppose, like if an object is behind an object I'm working on and I want to move it out of the way but need to replace it quickly. But read the help files regarding cut & paste and can anyone tell me why this program won't do what it's supposed to do?

everytime I try to cut and paste an object, I keep getting a 'corner' looking cursor that when I click on the drawing, the object gets pasted. I want to be able to 'cut' something to the clipboard and 'paste' it back into it's original exact location. Help file says it's supposed to do this...
