After much delay, finally figured out it was the slider board. Put in a new one and we are back up and running.

I have that problem when loading sheets and there isn't enough slack material at the top or bottom for the rollers.

I will double check the cables, I did take a quick look at them and didn't see anything. We've had some storms, but nothing major, and it was fine after those.

A couple of days I booted up the machine and went through the usual cleaning and all that. Did my test draw and the black and part of the magenta looked pretty strange. I cleaned the heads again and still had the weird draw. Did a head soak and ran some strong cleans and still have the issue...

I think the cut strip may be the issue. How do you change it? Do I just lift it out and replace it?

I spaced putting that. I am printing on 10 mil vinyl, which is what I've been printing on for who knows how long. We have it set to where it scores the tags, and then they cleanly snap apart, but now getting this problem.

I am having an issue with my cutter not cutting cleanly as of late and I'm not sure if its the blades or the cutter itself. I haven't changed anything as far as materials go or settings, but I have changed out blades in an effort to remedy this. I also have rotated the blade in different...

I know its not that, I've messed with that before. I got it a little better by adjusting where the media roll holders are, the left hand holder wasn't quite in between the lines that are marked for 3" cores.

Bumping an old thread here. The problem just one day resolved itself, turned on the printer and all of a sudden it was reading the size correctly. It had been working for the last few months, but all of a sudden yesterday its back to not reading the size correctly. Nothing was changed, not...

I would check the media comp, that may need to be adjusted.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check on the rail and the heat of the printer. Storage area is all good though, so I don't believe that to be an issue.

We have been getting these drips and they seem to be getting worse. It looks like its from the cleaning solution, but I'm not sure. I guess it could be the media, but I doubt it. Printing on .010 rigid vinyl. Any thoughts?

Yea, replace the capping station, that will fix the problem. Its pretty easy to do as well, takes about 10 minutes. It would take a lot less if you didn't have to mess with the ink tubes running to the pumps.

My cutter has been acting up over the last couple of months and its to the point where its a daily occurrence. It will cut perfectly fine on a couple of jobs, then it will leave some white at the top on a job and correct itself not too long after. So I go into the settings and adjust for it, and...

I would try soaking the head overnight to see if that clears it up.

Just curious, did you figure out the problem redline?

I think I will try the Triangle inks, I doubt any issues will come up. At least it doesn't sound like any should. I have my printers tented off with plenty of ventilation, so that won't be an issue either.
