  1. JFX2513 colour streaking

Did you clean the media jam sensors? Also, have you verified there is no damage to the encoder strip. Send pictures of your nozzle test print pattern and picture examples of what is going on in your prints.
  2. Need Help JFX-200 Head 2 not working

Did you check the TP test points on the HDC board while the head was connected and disconnected with a voltage meter? There are 4 points to check for head #2 (TP7,8,9,10) and each should read at least 30 ohms of resistance. Where did you get the head? Normally there is a 90 day standard warranty...
  3. Need Help JFX-200 Head 2 not working

I had this happen recently. Tested heads and HDC board all tested good. Turned printer off and unplugged for 5min. Reseated head cables and restarted printer started working.
  4. Mimaki JFX200-2515 print white jigs

Bring your jig print outline file into Rasterlink as a solid CYMK color. Then go into color replacement and replace the color you brought in to output as 100% white. If you are using the jig print function in Rasterlink I believe when you click the print option it lets you select the color you...
  5. Mimaki CJV150-160 Repair or new print head?

In these cases I have had success doing a more aggressive ink fill. If you can get into service mode. I would go into #Adjust > #Head Wash and run a “Fill Up”. This fill up runs for about 6mins which is about 4min more then a normal fill up in maintenance mode. After completing this fill up...
  6. Opinions on JV100-160

If you are printing on 3M media you may want to request samples before you purchase the JV100. Prints on 3M media seem to come out super grainy. The cartridge bag replacement system is horrible but it does reduce the ink cost because of the 660ml bags. Make sure you take advantage of the current...
  7. CJV30-160 One magenta channel drops out.

I would start with replacing the Damper and possibly the cap. These are consumable parts that need to be replaced periodically. Dampers help filter out ink contaminants before the ink enters the print head. Clogged dampers can cause ink starvation or dropouts.
  8. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150 system halt

Also, if you have the newer version slider board make sure your firmware version is 2.90 or above. I agree with Solventinkjet it could be the Mainboard as well.
  9. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150 system halt

if you already replaced the slider board looks like you will probably need to replace the head or Com IO board. Check resistance on the slider board with the head cables disconnected to verify.

  12. Mimaki printer help

Now your slider board is damaged. Most likely because of the head. Your going to need to run or have someone run the resistance test from my last post to confirm this. But, it looking like a head & a slider board.
  13. Mimaki printer help

In cases like this where it appears the problem is electrical I would check for head damage using a voltage meter. You can check the TP points of CN3 & CN4 of the slider board for abnormal resistance. Each silver contact point should read pretty much the same. This will most likely confirm that...
  14. Mimaki printer help

Run a strong cleaning and take a look between the head and cap. During the cleaning can you see the cap filling with ink? How old is the printer? Original head? Could be a bad head cable or bad head. Seems electrical since you are getting zero nozzles. Currently when you run the test print...
  15. Mimaki printer help

Ok, so you didn’t have the stopper on the cap. Run a normal ink fill from the maintenance menu and you should be good. Then run another nozzle test print pattern.
  16. Mimaki printer help

When you replaced the cap did you transfer over the air port stopper from the old cap to the new cap? The cap bottom has three ports. Two connect to the waste tank and washing liquid tubing. The third should be capped off. If that all looks good inspect the face of the print head for damage...
  17. JFX200-2513 Pressure Issues

How old is your printer? It’s recommended per Mimaki that you replace the positive/negative pump once a year. You may want to move the carriage over the bed and turn off the main power switch. Make sure there is media under the carriage. With the power off if you notice ink dripping from the...
