hi thank you for the idea, i sucked the ink up through the lines and into the damper and did the fill ink as you suggested but for some reason it wont print for me. all the lines are full of ink and there is ink in the dampers. can you tell me if im doing something wrong?? or any other...

cheers for the replys guys. ive cleaned the tubes on the capping station there was hard bits of in stuck inside so there all cleaned up now. i cleaned the sponges as best i could. they didnt come out white but they are certainly better than when i started.

hi mark cheers for the reply. im running winPCsign letter 2005 and it doesnt list the roland. it only lists the plotter i bought the software with and a Redasil plotter.

hi mark it doesnt list my printer in that list. have you any suggestions? i do remeber i had to drop a .cfg file into the .cfg folder of signmax to get my other plotter to work but i dont have any such file for the roland.
i have been using winpc now for 4 years and never had any trouble with it. its probably what your used to really. hoepfully someone else will have used both winpc and roland before so they might be able to help me out.

Finally got into the service mode and after a bit of tweaking it is now cutting right on the print line.
