ha ha, just so happens that i laid down three seperate panels 9'x6' wide on painted cinder blocks. i was very nervous going into this but all turned out good. i learned better technique on panel plus got much faster on each panel. i used 3651 with 210 semi gloss laminate, there is really no need...
my main income "right now", is my power engineering job. but the sign business is slowly gain ground. an hopefully one day i will be able to go half time at the mill, and full time in the sign biz. things are really starting to get hecktic, and the wife is putting pressure on me to take some...
we have printed double pass on our roland, onto clear and installed on white transluscent lexan, colors are a bit darker during the day (unless the sign is turned on), but are very good at night. if it is a backlit sign, whenever the business is open the sign should be lit anyway (that is why...
have had this happen to our shop. guy has 4 trailers (25 feet long). wanted them all decaled the same. i gave him a price for one trailer, and a total price if all 4 were done, with a 15% discount. i told him i would charge him full price on the first three, and when the fourth one was done...
well mainframe, that did the trick! thank you very much. this is a fairly new machine, and we are just a small business. and i thought i was warned about doing the stronger cleans (can't remember the reasons) as it was not good for the machine to do too many of them.
thanks:U Rock:
hi there, i just got finished cleaning (manual) my printer, as i was just called for a banner that needs to be done monday morning. so, as soon as i was done cleaning i loaded the banner material, and started to print. this banner has alot of green lettering on it, so it started printing the...
thanks for looking. i have a customer that i have made a vector logo for, and they have a small 1 color vector that looks like a monogramed brand, such as a brand used on cattle to mark them. i am not really fluent in corel yet (x3). but they would like the logo to look more like an actaul brand...
thank you all! i will be printing on clear and overlaminate to the chrome. mosh, i agree, but if you new where we live and our main clientel you would realize you almost hit the nail on the head...lol
but as long as i am making money. the customer is always right!
:thankyou:
this machine is supposed to be able to do this (vp-540). but when i try, the ink does not seem to adhere to the chrome, and when it is hanging, the ink will actually start to run down the vinyl. is there a certain profile i should use, heat settings, do you need to let it sit before cutting...
i bought one about a year ago, and it has worked flawless. and i am a newbee at the digital printing game, so the learning curve was steep, but
it was all explained in the manual, so yes " my be hapy also" lol:clapping:
i have only done a few view thru window coverings, with a 50% view thru area. we have just used the GVCP profile as mentioned above and it worked fine, but i was told by a friend in the business to, set the printer up to return to origin and reprint it (double print). he said it would look a...
it was exported from corel x3 at 250 dpi, 200 fountain steps, cmyk, includes header, tiff, 8 bit color, curves. hope this makes sense, and someone can point me in the right dirrection.
thanks, Proline Decals
hi there, i am fairly green with the roland (vp-540) and the versa works. i am trying to print a large (for me) banner 4' x 10', with a fountain fill in the background. when it starts to rip it only gets to 20% then seems to stop, i waited 3/4 of an hour and it was still at 20%. has anyone else...
