thanks for all the comments. I had a dealer come to my shop and talk to me. I told him what I was looking for and he said he would get back with me, this was approx. 3 weeks before the SGIA show in Orlando. I told him I would be buying before the end of the year. He never got back with me...
what latex?
What latex did you buy? The LX850 or the new 3000?
I have the LX850 and looked at the new 3000. Its a very nice
machine with much needed improvements over the LX850, but
I don't see how they justify the price being over twice what I paid
for my LX850. Sure it prints a little...
I've been to several SGIA shows, just never one at Orlando FL. This was by far the biggest one I've ever attended, including the one following the skipped one in NOLA because of hurricane Katrina.
Just wondering how many people bought equipment. It really appeared that many people were there...
banner material on a fb500
Before we bought our HP latex LX850 we printed banner material on our 2 FB950, these are just like the FB700 which is very similar to your printer. We just put the banner material on the bed and ran it through our printer. You will be amazed how well it prints...
I didn't know that I had a choice in the dealer. From
what I've been told is it depends on the area that you are from
as to the dealer you will have?
thanks, keep them coming.
We have had our for a little over a year and have about 319,000 square feet. We have had minor problems, but really nothing to complain about. I guess I biggest complaint is have HP to diagnose the problem. There have been several times we would call tech support and they would recommend...
I disagree!!
I'm sorry but I disagree with you 100% on this. When we decided to go completly wholesale we did. We are listed only in the yellow pages, when someone calls local we refer them to a local shop that is our customer. By dealing only with sign shops we know that the art work and...
I agree wholesale only websites are a joke, I'll apologize about the sign on the building, I am located in a small town. If we had a sign that had any reference to a sign company we would be getting tons of walk ins and that isn't something I want to deal with. We are however are listed in the...
I agree 100%, there are so many companies that will sell to both sides. It amazes me everytime I look at a "wholesale only" website and see their prices posted for the world to see. Your wholesale company shouldn't advertise their business locally and shouldn't have a sign on their building...
got a question that no one has asked, why in the world would the colors be different???
we print jobs for customers all the time and always match the colors to the last job ordered!
I have some customers that only order a certain job once a year, you know what the color always
match!
Sue!
Sue them, or at least get on every board and blast them and threaten to sue them. I guarantee they will listen if you
scream loud enough! The last thing any of these big companies want is bad publicity. These big companies rush their products
to production and use us as guinea pigs to...
don't believe either is worth over 500.00 each. If I was able to sell the dryer for 500.00 I would be glad.
I actually bought a slitter just like that one about 13 years ago, the company shut down. It was a union shop
so I think they keep a few hands until they sold everything. They crated it...
