I pay a straight 20% on sales. No base, no milage no BS.
Comission sales people are either really good - meaning they have sales experience and know how to sell.
Or not worth a **** - meaning no or little experience and not a self starter.
Unfortunatly they can help or hurt your business...
I not only remember several of the artists listed above but I had the priviledge to work with many of them.
I started in the Print/sign business about six years ago along with my regular business.
My regular business I started in 1971 doing concert sound & lighting. Still do today and love...
Print one side leaving extra substrate on both ends.
Wait untill it dries.
Flip it over, line up the start, print second side.
Done.
I'm not being a smart ***. I do it that way all the time...

I'm looking to upgrade my printer for sublimation.
I've been using the Epson wf30 printer. Plus side...cheep printer, ciss with 3rd party ink works well.
Now I've gone through my 2nd printer.
Sublimation is doing well.
What printer to go to from here?
Let me know what you're using...
I've used 5 x 10 but never larger.
I would think the shipping on something that large would kill the deal.
Must be a way to use a couple of 4 x 8's.
What are the details..
I use Sihl 3197 on my Mutoh VJ1304 cut with my Graphtec 8000.
Works great, no printing problem, no contour cut problems, no weeding problems and no heat transfer problems.
I used to use it just for dark garmnets. Now I use it for everything. T shirts, tote bags anything textile.

Wow
Boy does this relate to signmaking...
I see a someone that should move to Norway...
Way back when I was a kid I use to take my (yes my) 22 rifle and go hunting on a regular basis. Squirles and rabbits mostly. I have not grown up to be a mass killer.
I thought about an idea years ago...
I think it looks great. Where did the op say anything about having it embroidered?
It will look great on the farm trucks. The weathered one could go out front like the century farm signs do.
I also like the inner outlines (?)
This is supposed to be a fun business, right? That's why I go...
I was looking for a "small" shear.
I ordered the 9385 from Main Trophy Supply.
All the other ones looked great if I wanted to cut large sheets of material. Thanks for all of the replys.
We'll see how it works out.
Thanks again.
Bob
I have a need for a small metal shear.
I've looked at the Accutter and the one Main Trophy Supply has.
Any suggestions?
Pros and cons?
Thanks,

Sound?
Yeah. The main counpany is called Advanced Audio Inc. We are a concert sound company. I started it in 1971.
About 6 years ago we started doing our own in house sign work...which led to large format printing...which led to sign work...which then went public!
We can hardly keep up with...
Done printing cards
I think we are done printing cards. It always keeps our print side really busy this time of year.
We always hand out a calendar to our customers. I see them hanging in a lot of the offices I call on. So somebody still likes them.
It's almost time to get the red suit out...
Anybody deal with Signworld USA in Chino CA?
Good experience?
Since I have never dealt with them I'm just looking for a heads up.
Thanks
