    Can you take a regular walmart phone with callerid display, connect it to your "gizmo" an see the caller id. If you can, set your Ring count to 2 or more on your fax modem. If you can not, then caller id is not being passed by your "gizmo" Craig

    If you right click on the drive in Windows, choose tools, choose CHECK for Errors. What happens? If you can't access it there, boot from your XP CD, choose Repair, once you get a black screen with a prompt, type: chkdsk d: /f That should correct any problems with the drive. Craig
