Oracal 3551RA is made in 50" from Oracal (49.6) so it will fit your machine without needing to be cut down.
I know SignWarehouse has it in 50". Maybe it is possible you can call Fellers and see if they will carry it in stock for you in that size since it is a standard Oracal size...
I don't think this is your answer (I'm still going with both blade holders are worn out) but you can also try this. Again I don't think will make much difference but can't hurt to try.
Sometimes Flexi will overwrite your plotter settings. You can turn off the Flexi cutter settings here...
Possible blade holder is old and worn out. The blade will lean in the curves instead of staying up and down. Does the machine read cb09u or PEN also? Only asking cause it looks like the blade picks itself up at the last moment before completing the cuts, which will happen if it says PEN, but...
Going from this being a Graphtec type plotter (QE's, DesignTech, CEXXXXX, FCXXX) you can always reset it to factory default. Turn off plotter and hold the arrow up button. While holding turn on machine and go from there. You can change the language from reset window.
Hope this helps.
When you say language are you meaning the computer language from HPGL to GPGL or vice versa?
If so and you are using a Graphtec brand type cutter you can find your answer here. Found it by doing a quick and simple search on their support knowledge base...
Any line in “ I shall be free # 10" from Bob Dylan, but lets get this straight, I love the song :-) and Bob Dylan this one has always been one of my favorites.
Well, I set my monkey on the long
And ordered him to do the Dog
He wagged his tail and shook his head
And he went and did the...
Sounds like you may have flat spots on the rollers. If you leave your rollers down while not in use this could occur. Same concept of having a car parked in the same spot for awhile and flat spots occur on the tires and the car pulls to one side. This can happen even after a couple of days if...
Make sure your blade holder is seated properly. The little ring about 3/4 of the way up the blade holder should be below where the blade holder sits. Not sure this is the problem, but I've seen people not seat these in all the way.
Your blade should not be sticking out the bottom where you...
Just throwing this out in case you may not know.
Keep your pinch rollers up when the machine is not in use also. Keeping them down on friction feed machines will wear a flat spot on your roller and cause the media to skew when coming out also. Not saying you do this, but a tip is a tip :-)...
Should be a part where a piston looking thing is between 2 wheels. This should be away from the coil part. I put the oil between that. This was a CE1000-60 so the insides may be different.
Try taking the cover off the blade carriage and put some 3-in-one oil on the piston that moves up and down. You will see it with it off to know what to oil.
Not sure if that will fix it but worth a shot.
This was your only problem with the current model printer you had. The outdoor was a good printer but needed to be taken care of like a puppy. If it was not used that printer did have issues.
With that being said both the new Rolands and Mutoh have corrected the issue of not needing to...
Could also be the Signlab giving you issues. Here is from Signlab's website.
Signlab version 7.1 - Fully compatible with Windows XP SP2, Windows XP 64 bit and Windows 2000. Compatible with Windows VISTA 32 with known issues. NOT compatible with Windows VISTA 64.
From my understanding the size of the dot changes so you would have 1440 tiny dots to make up a higher resolution and slower speed. The 720 would have the same amount of ink but the drops would be twice the size losing resolution but speeding up the process a bit, but that being said I'm only a...
The 1440 dpi and 360 dpi shoots out roughly the same amount of ink, just the 360 dpi would shoot out a fatter drop than the 1440 dpi. The smaller the dot the better the resolution.
Before getting into offset and such check one thing that is a simple to overlook for people new to vinyl cutting (not sure if you are or not)
On the display does it say Tool - Pen or CB09U? If it says PEN that could very well be your issue, just change it to CB09U. If it already says CB09U...
