Maybe add some lighter red tones for highlights on the imagery to accent it, but without taking too much attention away from the text?
  2. A great place to start

Hah well sorry for trying to share a resource that I use you guys! I am fairly new here so I'm still getting used to the ins and outs! But at least I know better now! :) I'll find that font identification on here! But until then, I guess I'll just rely on other peoples "pleasure and pride" as it...
  3. A great place to start

Okay, I feel like lately I've been replying to too many font & typography posts with the same answer, although that answer isn't the perfect answer x) Whenever I can't find a font right away after lurking through our font book that we print and try to keep as updated as possible here at Coastal...
  4. What is the clostest match to this font...

I feel like I've been posting this way too much lately, but this is where I usually start for fonts if I can't get them right off the bat. It's not always 100% accurate, but it's a great place to start and usually gives you a great idea for a direction to go in if it can't find it right away...

  9. Horrible design for drug task force patch

It's upside down, which usually means you're anti-whatever. But the whole "upside down" gimmick isn't always taken as a sign of disrespect, and if that was what they were trying to do.. I don't feel it's getting the point across. This actually just looks like a drug runner biker patch x)
  10. Window graphics

^Agreed I've found that whenever I cut anything too early, the edges curl up where there is more ink. Although I could be wrong about this, I've always assumed it was from the ink air drying a little more. I always leave my prints to "dry" overnight and this usually prevents the edges from...
  11. Hey would you at that, there are people in atlantic Canada!

Hey everyone! My name is Felix, and I've been working as a sign printer for Coastal Graphics in Fredericton, New-Brunswick, Canada for a few months! So yes, I am fairly new at the whole trade, but I did my studies in Graphic Design, and my school had a strong emphasis on printing, not just the...
