Yea a lot of people call me and want a free design and then they will decide if they are going to buy it. But thats not gonna fly with me.
I tell them to pay $250 non refundable initial artwork set up fee, then I credit that to the actual wrap itself when they approve the design. If they say...
yea i'd say its definitely the cap top. they can harden over time and lose effectiveness. I always keep a spare one on hand. Also a 30 min nozzle wash then a normal cleaning couldn't hurt
Hmm IDK thats a great question. Yes this was glossy laminate. The matte may make a big difference. Also scuffing might do the trick. Either way, let it sit for at least 3 days to check for bubbling.
This was a calendared laminate from InstantMediaOne. Its just a short term laminate. Used it for many things but never had a problem from bubbling within 3 days.
Yes I had actually let them gas out for 3 days before laminating. Just the epoxy itself would not bond to the laminate and the result was tons of bubbles. Here is a photo. Ignore the scuff marks that came from a Hi Lo running it over.
Double/triple check the flat cable connection from the head to slider board. look for any damage to the cable. then after the error goes away Do a nozzle wash for 99 mins then do an ink fill up.
I did a laminated floor sticker along with some black calendered vinyl a while back. Then applied clear epoxy. After a few days the pieces with laminate bubbled up all over the place but the black calendered vinyl was perfect.
I was sure they supported the new JV300 , not sure about the CJV300. But the JV300 is in the Onyx list of printers you can install however there are no generic profiles for it you have to make your own.
Mimaki has 4k off ending today on the CJV-300 64" print/cut model. Get it with orange and light black inkset. I personally would avoid the white and silver inks. Too much maintenance.
Here's what you do assuming you have complete CS2 package. Open the file with Adobe In Design. Then export the file as a PDF or any other format you prefer. Then you can open with Illy.
Cartridges have ink in them correct? If so then use a syringe to pull ink through the waste lines on the back side of printer, make sure machine is turned off and print carriage is all the way on the capping station. Also, push the carriage away from the capping station for a few seconds after...
Best show of the season(this season has kinda sucked so far). The guy got a great head start when his daddy loaned him 200k to start the business. Some people can start and build a business by themselves, Most can't. Must be nice to have rich parents.
